This week's meeting is FREE* (with the option to make a voluntary donation if you wish). We moved this month's free meeting to this week (it's usually held on the first meeting of the month) as we were due to have a special guest speaker with us this week—the amazing teacher of Self-Compassion and Self-Care, Sue Cooper. Sadly, Sue is now unable to be with us this Thursday, due to personal reasons, and we are in the process of rescheduling her appearance with us for another Thursday very soon—further details will follow, once the new arrangements have been confirmed.

In this week's online Thursday meeting we'll be looking at how we can use Mindfulness in a way that enables us to meet the difficulties, challenges, disappointments, and obstacles of life in a radically different way – a way that enables us to actually cope much better with all this adversity, while simultaneously avoiding the pitfall of slipping into anxiety, excessive worry, emotional distress, or depression... and without us getting consumed by negative internal commentary.

In the course of this week's meeting, we'll explore several simple tips, techniques and straightforward practices that can empower us to engage with the difficult things that crop up in life in a competent, focussed and clear-thinking way (so allowing us to handle tough situations well) while, at the same time, finding new reserves of calm, emotional balance, and inner-resilience that we simply didn't realise we had in us.

The evening will feature inspiring guidance and teaching by top experts in the fields of Mindfulness and meditation, including the leading Buddhist meditation teachers Ajahn Brahm and Shinzen Young, plus the popular and internationally acclaimed author of the bestselling book 'The Power of Now', Eckhart Tolle.
In the course of Thursday's meeting Ajahn, Shinzen and Eckhart will share their insight's and understanding with us in some short but inspiring video talks, and the evening will be hosted by the respected local Mindfulness teacher Shaun Glossop, our Group Coordinator, who will guide us through this week's topic in a down-to-earth, straightforward and easy-to-understand way.

Plus, in addition, this weeks meeting will also include periods of deeply relaxing guided meditation!

So join us ONLINE this Thursday for a great evening of Mindfulness...

* This year we will be making one meeting in each month (usually on the first Thursday of the month) FREE and open to all. These free meetings will be a little bit shorter in length than our other, usual weekly meetings (which are approximately 2-hours long), but they will otherwise have the same ‘feel’, atmosphere and structure.
