Managing Teams, Stakeholders and Delivery in the GenAI Era

Ciao Pythonistas! 🐍

This month we shake things up with an incredible lineup. We have not one, not two, but three experienced developers who are now working as Engineering Managers, Heads of, or even VPs of Data, AI and Generative AI in large organisations.

Not only that, but we're changing the format. This time, rather than a talk, we will engage in a panel - with open QA from the public about their experience, challenges and perspectives.

Don't expect a one-sided panel: we will discuss themes ranging from data and AI governance, how to ship AI solutions that work in large enterprises and manage stakeholders, but also how to organise a team given how much GenAI and coding agents have changed the way we do our job.

Anna Russo is a Data & AI leader with 15 years of experience in Data Science applied to luxury, healthcare, e-commerce, travel and media industries. She holds a PhD in Computational Biology from the European School of Molecular Medicine, and previouslyI worked as a Data Scientist in London for companies like QuantumBlack/McKinsey, Channel4, Skyscanner & Gucci.

Alberto Danese is a Data and AI leader with extensive experience in financial services and payments. He leads 4 international teams across Italy, Denmark and Germany, delivering data products, AI solutions and strategic insights that generate measurable business value for Nexi. With a background in Credit Information and 8 years in consulting for major banks and financial institutions, he has developed a strong understanding of the financial ecosystem.

Marco Santoni is a Data Platform and Engineering Manager at TeamSystem, where he works on scalable data platforms, AI-enabled data products, and data governance architectures. Based in Milan, he is an active member of Python Milano community and co-host of the Intervista Pythonista podcast. He is also involved in education as Technical and Scientific Advisor at ITS Rizzoli, where he teaches data and software engineering topics.
