# Rust Milan @ Python Milano: Python or Rust? Yes!

We are officially kicking off the Rust Language Milan user group with a very special guest appearance! For our first gathering, we are joining forces with our friends at Python Milano to explore one of the most exciting trends in modern systems programming: the interoperability between Python and Rust.
If you’ve been curious about how Rust can provide "superpowers" to high-level languages, this is the event for you.
