Divine Comedy Club Milano presents American Idiot, the brand-new one-man comedy show by Edy “U-The-Man”, a Nigerian-American comedian, performer, MC, and founder of Divine Comedy Club Milano.
American Idiot is a hilarious, high-energy journey through the mind of an American living in Europe. More specifically, through the mind of an American Idiot.
In this self-deprecating, chaotic, and completely unfiltered comedy showcase, Edy takes the audience on a wild ride through his personal experience of life in Italy, cultural misunderstandings, the madness of the modern world, and the deeply questionable decisions that have shaped his love life, work life, and family life.
Nothing is off limits. Not even his dignity.
With sharp social commentary, manic storytelling, and a brutally honest look at the American experience abroad, American Idiot is both introspective and absurd, personal and universal, concerning and hilarious.
Edy “U-The-Man” has performed in cities across Europe, including Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, Malta, Berlin, and several cities throughout Italy. As the organizer and MC of Divine Comedy Club Milano, he has helped build one of Milan’s first English-language comedy clubs, bringing together local and international comedians in the city’s growing stand-up scene.
Divine Comedy Club Milano is a community of local and expat comedians performing English-language comedy in Milan. The club also hosts a weekly Open Mic night and regularly features both emerging and established comedians.
