Tokyo Vegan は日本におけるヴィーガン コミュニティの発展を目指すとともに、世界規模のヴィーガンムーヴメントと連動しています。
主な活動である東京ヴィーガンミートアップはヴィーガンとヴィーガニズムに興味がある人に理想的な交流の場を提供しています。2006年の設立以降、ほぼ毎週開催しています。楽しいソーシャルイベント social events、学びを提供するトークイベント talk events、 フェスティバル festivalsでのインフォメーションブースinformation boothsなど活動は多岐にわたり、事実に基づく情報提供をソーシャルメディアsocial mediaで行なっています。私たちはベジ議連にも参加しています。議連は2019年に超党派の議員とヴィーガン・ベジ関連グループによって開かれ、日本をもっとヴィーガンに優しい国にするため奮闘しています。私たちのサイトではオーガナイザーとボランティアが協力し、二か国語での情報発信をしています。現在8,400人のメンバーがおり、増え続けています。

The aim of Tokyo Vegan is to help the vegan community in Japan to grow and to connect to the worldwide vegan movement. Our main project is Tokyo Vegan Meetup, a fun group of vegans and vegan-interested people. Established in 2006, we hold vegan-related events almost every week, that are open to all. Although many Tokyo Vegan events are fun social events, we also work to raise awareness of vegan-related issues through talk events, information booths at festivals, seminars, and by sharing fact-based information on social media. Tokyo Vegan Meetup is a member of the Vege Council Japan - A group of bipartisan lawmakers and vege groups, established in 2019, working to make Japan more vegan-friendly. All our information is available in both Japanese and English, and organizers are volunteers.
