グループの特徴
The Chicago Black Professionals Social Network is a community of individuals 21 and over in the Chicago area who share a connection to and appreciation for ethnic heritages rooted in the African diaspora. Founded in 2001, the group has been sustained and handed down from dedicated members over the decades, making it one of the longest-standing professional and social communities of its kind in Chicago.
Our members represent a wide range of educational, professional, and social backgrounds, but we share a common goal: to come together for social networking, professional growth, and community building.
We strive to create an environment that fosters authentic connections, meaningful conversations, and a healthy exchange of ideas, enriching the personal and professional lives of our members. Our group values professionalism, respect, and a drama-free atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
Please note: our events are intended for adults 21 and older, unless otherwise specified in the event description or comments.

Alpine Vibes & Night Slides: Snowtubing & Late Night Bites
Villa Olivia, 1401 W Lake Street, Bartlett, IL, USReady to trade the city lights for some snowy heights? We’re heading to Villa Olivia for an evening of high-speed fun and great conversation. If you’ve never been snow tubing, think of it as the ultimate "no-skill-required" winter thrill—just pure adrenaline and laughs with a fantastic crew.
The Vibe:
We are hitting the slopes for the Night Tube session. Imagine crisp winter air, neon lights illuminating the lanes, and the energy of the hill at night. It’s a totally different atmosphere than the daytime—faster, cooler, and perfect for our group.
SAVE THE DATE NOW, PAY LATER! The venue releases tickets about 7-10 days in advance when they are sure of the weather. We will send another announcement when they are available.
These sessions sell out fast! You will use this link to purchase your ticket for the 1/17 7:00 PM block once they are open. PURCHASE TICKETS HERE
Please leave a comment if you are driving and willing to let folk roll along with you.
The Game Plan:- 6:20 PM | Pre-Tube Connection: We’ll meet at the Villa Café inside the main lodge. Look for our group to check in, grab a warm drink, and get settled before our session starts.
- 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM | The Main Event: Two hours of unlimited tubing.
- 9:15 PM | Late Dinner & Drinks: We’ll head over to The Boss's Signature for a well-deserved late dinner (with MORE Brewing Company as our backup spot!).
What You Need to Know:
Tickets: Your ticket includes your professional-grade snow tube and access to the "magic carpet" conveyor lift (no hiking back up the hill!).
Requirements: All participants must be at least 42 inches tall.
What to Wear (Stay Warm & Safe):
To ensure you enjoy the night without the bite, we recommend:- Layers are Key: A moisture-wicking base layer, a warm mid-layer (fleece or wool), and a windproof/waterproof outer shell.
- Footwear: Waterproof winter boots with good traction are a must. No ski boots or sneakers!
- The Essentials: Warm gloves (waterproof is best), a winter hat, and a scarf or neck gaiter.
Let’s kick off the new year by embracing the Chicago winter in style. Can’t wait to see you all on the hill!
