すべて見る- BEND: Sunday Monthly Rock Work - Ticket To Ride会場が必要です
What: A section of Ticket to Ride, a green rated trail, has been deteriorating leaving rocks exposed more than they should be. This trail was designed as a more beginner/family friendly loop from the welcome center. In order to bring this back down to a green we will be adding rock armoring... yep that's right... in order to fix it we will be adding rock, not removing it. This should make the section easier and more fun.
These rock work parties are more strenuous than a normal work party so be prepared for that. It will often take us the full 3 hours to complete one very small section of trail.
Where: We will be meeting at the dirt parking area across the road from Wigi Creek here: https://goo.gl/maps/PLZA9E5JhHkwvSy1A.
If you think you will be late, you can drive out and meet us here: https://goo.gl/maps/Mwwq4XVpcW7DNMeu9
What to expect: After our meet-and-greet we will will have a short safety and work overview briefing. Be prepared for hard work and to have FUN! Talking about the trails and the techniques used to maintain them is fun, so ask questions if you have them.
Plan on working snow, rain or shine. If there is inclement weather, smoke from wildfires, or anything COTA deems dangerous, I will update this Meetup page and also send an email to everyone out through Meetup. If you do not hear from me, the event is on.What To Bring:
