This meet-up is for anyone who wants to talk about advanced technology in English using MIT Technology Review (MTR) as material.
I (the organiser) am someone who doesn't have anything directly to do with MTR or MIT. I am just a techie ;)
I'm learning English and I want to talk about technology in English. That's why I had the idea of this meet-up.
We welcome not only technology professionals but also anyone who is a non-expert with an interest in technology and English conversation.
■ What is "MIT Technology Review (MTR)"?
Founded at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1899, MTR is a magazine and web media to equip the audiences with the intelligence to understand and contribute to a world shaped by technology.
As the Japanese version was released on Oct 1st 2016, it has become easier for those of us who are not proficient at English to understand the material.
