Welcome to the Sunday Mallorca Language Exchange Meeting!
The meeting is organized in a relaxed and informal way. Essentially, we gather around a few tables and let conversations flow in different languages. Mostly English and Spanish, but also other languages! Attendees are a mix of locals and foreigners with different levels speaking different languages, and wanting to exchange what they know for practice, so no matter your own level, don't hesitate to come and try! It's a great way to meet people while improving your language skills.

The event is free, but happens in a local bar where you are expected to consume something during the event, such as a drink. Prices are reasonable. We have asked for our tables to not have a "common bill" service, so drinks are paid on the go by each attendee. This allows people to mingle more easily and avoids problems with the bills at the end. We hope you understand.

These events are for citizens of the world living in Mallorca who want to practice their language skills in English or Spanish, share time with friends, meet new people and have a great time together in an informal setting.
The gatherings are place every Monday at the bar (or on the outdoor terrace, weather permitting) of the Palladium Hotel.

Empiezan las reuniones de otoño invierno,que seguirán hasta el próximo verano, se harán en el hotel Brick en la terraza , salvo que haya mal tiempo , en ese caso se harán en el Hall del hotel.Hay unas reglas a seguir: 1-Las bebidas y sus vasos cada uno las lleva a la terraza y luego se encarga de bajarlas al bar cuando termine .2- No obstruir el paso por toda la terraza, podemos sentarnos pero hay que dejar un paso libre a los extremos de la terraza.3- la reunión en la terraza acaba a las 10:45 dejándola limpia de botellas ,vasos y platos.4-Si tenéis alguna pega o consulta con el hotel o el evento, hablar primero con el organizador, que para eso está, entre otras cosas. Pasaremos un rato agradable conociendo a gente de diversos países y se hablará principalmente ingles-español pero dependiendo de tus interlocutores puedes practicar diversos idiomas(alemán, francés, italiano, chino, búlgaro etc.), hay todo tipo de niveles , animo a todos a participar y como siempre la regla de oro para aprender un idioma es no tener miedo a practicarlo, animo, nos vemos.
The autumn-winter meetings begin and will continue until next summer. They will be held at the Brick Hotel on the terrace, unless there is bad weather, in which case they will be held in the hotel lobby. There are some rules to follow: 1- Each person takes their drinks and glasses to the terrace and then takes them down to the bar when they finish. 2- Do not block the passage around the entire terrace, we can sit down but we must leave a clear passage at the ends of the terrace. 3- The meeting on the terrace ends at 10:45, leaving it clean of bottles, glasses and plates. 4- If you have any problems or queries with the hotel or the event, speak first to the organizer, as that is what they are there for, among other things.
We will spend a pleasant time meeting people from different countries and English-Spanish will be spoken mainly but depending on your interlocutors you can practice different languages (German, French, Italian, Chinese, Bulgarian etc). there are all kinds of levels, I encourage everyone to participate and as always the golden rule to learn a language is not to be afraid to practice it, good luck, see you
