Ceremony at Shinto shrine and walking together at Nezu, Tokyo 根津で茅の輪くぐりと街歩き
Let’s go to the Nezu shrine together to watch a special ritual called “Chinowa-kuguri” or “Nagoshi-no-harae” (Great purification ceremony). And we walk around Nezu with local Japanese people! If you wear beautiful Yukata (Kimono for summer), you will absolutely enjoy it more! You can try Yukata easily so please let me know by message.
What’s Nezu? Although Nezu is adjacent to large cities such as Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ginza, it has a traditional downtown atmosphere where you can see the everyday life scenery in Tokyo. Nezu shrine, which is a symbol of Nezu, is a valuable building that has remained the same since the Edo era and several of the buildings on the shrine grounds have been designated as Important Cultural Property.
About us We are an organization that distributes Japanese traditional culture from Nezu, Bunkyo ward, Tokyo. All of members love our country and culture. Let's learn about this beautiful city and Japanese culture while having fun!
