Let’s Talk in English is a friendly and international English conversation group based in Sydney, Australia.
We host both online and in-person events, with a special focus on relaxed, enjoyable English speaking sessions.
Since 2020, we’ve expanded our online events to include members from all over the world—including Thailand, the Philippines, Dubai, Vietnam, and beyond. Whether you’re joining from home or on the go, we’d love to meet you and practise English together in a supportive and welcoming environment.

BBQ with International Friends
Harold Park Playgrounds, 111 Ross St, Forest Lodge NSW 2037, Forest Lodge, AUReady for some delicious food, new friends, and great conversation? Come hang out with us for a relaxed BBQ at the awesome Tramsheds! It's the perfect chance to practice English or other languages in a fun, friendly setting where everyone is welcome. What's on the menu?
We'll be grilling up plenty of tasty sausages (beef, chicken, and veggie options!). There'll also be lots of chips, dips, and snacks to go around, plus soft drinks and water to keep you cool. We've got all the plates, cutlery, and gear sorted.
(Just a heads up: this is a BYO event if you'd like alcohol, but please drink responsibly.)
Why you should come:
This is for everyone! Whether you're practicing your English (no judgment here, we're all learning!), or you're a native speaker wanting to chat in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish, you'll fit right in.
Most people come on their own, so don't be shy! We're all about creating a welcoming space where it's easy to meet new people.

We're all about creating a safe, respectful, and friendly atmosphere. Kindness comes first, and anyone making others feel uncomfortable will be asked to leave.
