Celebrate the first day of Reiwa w Charity Sparkling sake

It’s coronation day, very important day for Japan! Let’s celebrate this Memorial Day with Pink Ribbon Reiwashu Sparkling Sake Official Launch Party at Premium Private space at Tokyo Midtown! Cut and paste from Metropolis Pink Ribbon initiative in the male-dominated Japanese Sake industry? Never heard about it? You are not alone. According to the Japan Cancer Society, this was the first of its kind when Sake Lovers Inc approached them passionately to want to incorporate the Pink Ribbon Campaign to the special edition sparkling sake the company was working to produce. Sake Lovers Inc was founded in 2018 by Yuki Imanishi, a lady sake sommelier, and her partners with the mission to help and support the shrinking sake industry in Japan. The number of small craft sake breweries and their production decreased by half in the last decade. Nihonshu, Japanese sake is not just any bottled alcohol drink. It is the Japanese National drink, which is filled with the rich culture and history of the sake breweries. Sake Lovers sincerely hope to do something meaningful to change such situation and to introduce wonderful Japanese sake and the rich culture and taste to people in Japan and overseas. Since we are entering into a new Japanese era, Sake Lovers wanted to challenge with a special edition sparkling sake Reiwashu to change the perception of Japanese sake to those who do not seem to like sake. It has 5.5% alcohol content and tastes like champagne. Let’s celebrate the new Japanese era with Reiwashu! Derived from all-natural secondary fermentation by peach yeast, this special edition sparkling sake from Okayama embodies the aromatic essence of a bubbly champagne. Many people in Japan, enlivened by the “Reiwa" spirit of revolution and peace, have helped bring this lovely taste to life. Sake Lovers want to revive small craft sake breweries across Japan and the 108-year-old Kamigokoro Shuzo, is one such sake brewery strengthened by this mission. Julia Marino, the label designer and a breast cancer survivor, wishes to promote the well-being and livelihood of women through the power of food, sake and story. Every woman, whether mother, life partner, daughter or friend, faces the risk of breast cancer. To help create awareness, Sake Lovers will donate part of the proceeds to the Japan Cancer Society’s Pink Ribbon campaign. Through Reiwashu, Sake Lovers hope to lift up women in Japan so they can sparkle and flourish in the new Reiwa era! Coronation Day Pink Ribbon Reiwashu Sparkling Sake Official Launch Charity Party!
