Just a quick update ahead of tomorrow - it looks like the complimentary passes for the paid exhibit won’t be going ahead this time. The good news is we are still meeting and exploring some of the incredible free collections together! We are meeting at the main entrance on great Russell Street. please don’t forget to book your free slot via the website link here:

Hi everyone! 👋

Excited for our British Museum meetup this Saturday! As mentioned, a kind member had generously offered complimentary passes for a paid exhibit, but following a couple of messages I’ve sent, I haven’t had confirmation yet if they’re still available.

Just in case the passes aren’t available, we’ll still meet and enjoy the free galleries and collections - there’s so much to see and explore. Either way, it’ll be a fantastic outing together.

I’ll update you if we hear anything new about the passes. Looking forward to seeing you all!

Event description:

**A member of the group has kindly offered 4 x British Museum complimentary passes worth £18 each. This covers the cost for one special (paid-for, no cost to us) exhibition. She will be at the museum at 12.45 to give a talk in one of the galleries, so we can meet earlier to make sure we dont miss her.

Availability is obviously limited (it will be 4 people max including me) so please let me know asap if you would like to join and once you RSVP ‘yes’ please send me a pm to confirm you are attending so I can reserve your spot.

If you are not sure you can make it please don’t RSVP yes, let someone else who genuinely wants to join take this opportunity.

☕️ We will take about 1 hour to go through the exhibit then we will go for coffee somewhere inside the museum or nearby.

Important to note:

1. We typically socialise at cafés after the exhibit, nice, independent ones, not chains and not at pubs. If the event is late on a Saturday we go to a nice bar/pub for drinks after. This meetup is inclusive and everyone is welcome to join.
2. If you get there before everyone and you're not sure what to do or where we are, post a comment on here and I will let you know our whereabouts.
3. Once we go in we may separate, feel free to explore the exhibit by yourself, we don't have to be together. Some people like chatting to others while exploring and other people prefer to be with their own thoughts. You are welcome to express yourself and do whatever helps you feel free.

4. If you are late or if you’ve booked for an earlier or later time don’t worry just go in and you’ll find us inside. Keep an eye on the comments as I’ll be posting updates.
