【Kyoto Spring Walk: World Heritage Shimogamo Shrine, Tadao Ando Architecture & Botanical Garden】
◆ Art Walk Overview
We will begin by visiting Kawai Shrine, known as the oldest shrine in Japan for prayers for beauty.
It is also associated with Kamo no Chōmei, the author of Hōjōki, one of Japan’s three classical essays. The small hermitage known as the “Hōjō Hut,” where he spent his later years, is also located here.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a seasonal walk through cultural spots in the Kitayama area. The walk includes the Garden of Fine Arts Kyoto, an outdoor museum designed by Tadao Ando, as well as a relaxing spring stroll through the Kyoto Botanical Garden.

◆アートウォーク概要
日本最古の美麗祈願の河合神社でお参りをします。
日本三大随筆のひとつ『方丈記』著者・鴨長明ゆかりの神社でもあり、彼が晩年を過ごした「方丈の庵」もあります。その後は北山エリアの文化施設を巡る季節限定のウォーキングです。安藤忠雄が設計した陶板名画の庭と、春の植物園散策をあわせて楽しみましょう。
