Tour Overview
It’s the season of beautiful fresh green! Let’s walk along the Kamo River and learn about its history. We will discover the deep connection between the river, the city, and Yasaka Shrine.

Learn about the history of this area.
Did you know? Some parts of the Gion Festival take place in the Kamo River. Let's find out why!

Gion Shirakawa
Walk through the beautiful traditional streets.
Let’s see how the river and the town grew together.

Yasaka Shrine (Goal)
The final stop! Learn about the shrine’s history and its holy connection to the Kamo River.

ツアー概要
京都の新緑の季節到来！鴨川の自然を感じながら、歴史を学びませんか？
このツアーでは、鴨川と京都のまち、さらには八坂神社がどう繋がって来たのかを深堀りし、歩きます。

ツアースケジュール

四条大橋
その周辺の歴史的背景を解説。
あの祇園祭の祭事は一部、鴨川で行います。
祭りと川の関係を深掘り。

祇園白川
伝統的な町並みを散策し、川と街の関係を読み解きます。

八坂神社
神社の歴史や、鴨川との関わりを詳しく解説。
鴨川が果たしてきた神聖な役割を学ぶ。

解散は現地解散(八坂神社)を予定しています。
