About the Event
Ever sat in a barber’s chair abroad and felt totally out of control? You ask for “just a trim” and end up with half your head gone. You try to describe your style, but the words don’t translate. Maybe you wonder if they even get your kind of hair. And while you’re sweating about the scissors, the barber is chatting away, expecting small talk you can’t quite keep up with.
That mix of miscommunication, cultural difference, and plain intimidation is something every foreigner knows. And that’s exactly why we’re meeting in a barbershop for the second time.
Come hang out in Jiyugaoka for an afternoon of Japanese–English conversation, live DJ sets, drinks, and yes—haircuts.

そんな「言葉の壁」「文化の違い」「ちょっとした緊張感」は、外国人なら誰もが経験したことがあるはず。だからこそ、今回は実際のバーバーショップでミートアップを開催します！
