Would you like to know about Buddhism?

Buddhism is now attracting attention worldwide.

It is known that many successful people devoted themselves to Zen of Buddhism such as late Mr. Steve Jobs.

Google introduced a self-development program called mindfulness based on Buddhism thought and is trying to improve the performance of employees through the “Search for self rather than search on the Internet”.

Einstein, the largest scientist of the 20th century, also acclaims Buddhism as follows.

If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs, it would be Buddhism.

Albert Einstien the Human Side

Why do teachings of Buddhism fascinate many people?

1. Buddhism is not a religion?

Buddhism is considered to be one of religion.

But the essence of Buddhism is to face our own mind. Buddha Shaka has said Buddhism is a mirror reflecting the true figure of mind.

If you know the essence of Buddhism, it is a philosophy of mind, not a “traditional religion” such as worshiping something to cure sickness or make your business grow, you will know that it is science.

2. Knowing Buddhism will allow you to look at your mind

correctly.

When learning Buddhism a mirror of the mind, you can see what is the desire of wishing to control yourself?

Where does the anger that hurts others and ourselves come from? Why do people repeat the same mistake over and over again? Why are we influenced by the evaluation of others?

You can learn and understand the reasons why the heart suffers.

3. Knowing Buddhism allows you to gain the strength and wisdom to face, overcome, and resolve your suffering.

Buddhism teaches the causes of your suffering. Once you know the cause, you can face it. If we can face each of them, we can proceed to solve it.

And Buddhism teaches the fundamental principles and methods to concretely cope and act in such a way to solve suffering and walk on the path to happiness.

You can learn the foundation of Buddhism practically and clearly.

This lecture is presented by Mr. Kazushi Okamoto who is one of the leading Buddhism teachers in Japan.

You will not to need to understand Japanese in order to attend.

And English interpreter would be available.
