What is it?

You hear the term ‘kodawari’ a lot when you are living in Japan. The word portrays extreme attention to fine details that makes customer service (or any kind of product making) in Japan exceptional. In this workshop, we will take a look at some examples of kodawari and exchange thoughts and ideas on how we practice our own kodawari in our daily life or professions.

イベント内容：

日本に住んでいると「こだわり」という言葉をよく耳にします。細部へのきめ細やかさを意味する「こだわり」は、日本のカスタマーサービスやあらゆるもの作りを世界でも卓越したものにしています。このワークショップでは、こだわりの事例をいくつか取り上げ、参加者同士が日常生活や仕事において実践している自身のこだわりについて意見交換をします。

Two external groups are joining us for this event; Honolulu Tech Network, based in Hawai’i, USA, and members of QUINTBRIDGE, an open innovation space and co-host of this event. Let us share ideas, discuss and learn from each other.

今回のイベントには、ハワイよりHonolulu Tech Networkのメンバーがオンライン参加下さる他、イベント共催となるQUINTBRIDGEの会員さんが参加予定です。国際交流及び異業種交流を楽しみながら互いに学び合いましょう。

Who is this event open to?

Creators, working adults, students, remote workers, freelancers, business owners, artists, researchers, companies and anybody who is interested in career/business networking.
