・Making a hiking team (min 5 people in groups) and enjoy climbing up to the top

【Schedule: Route and Guide】

8:30am Meeting at Exit West, Shinjuku station, Keio Line

Handouts: trip schedule, the route map, and information Mt. Takao, making some small groups *how to make it: secret :）

9:00am Leaving the train for Takao-san guchi station

*Discuss the following matter (##marked ) on each group before arriving at Takao-san guchi station.

##Choose a group leader and a hiking trail

*Group leader's work is that to contact to the organizers when the members get in trouble or get sick or get lost a way etc.

↓ by train (1h)

10:00am Arrival Takao-san guchi

*Starting to walk each group

↓ on foot, including break times (2h)

12:30 ~ 2:00pm On the top

↓ Lunch break (1.5h)

*Planning to have lunch on the top, but we will move to a better place in the case of crowded (Mt. Takao is the high season in the end of November).

2:00 ~ 4:30pm Climbing down to the station with all

*We will be visiting a temple, seeing a big cedar tree, and getting on a lift etc.

↓ on foot, including break times (2h)

4:30pm Arrival Takao-san guchi station

↓ by train (1h)

5:30pm Arrival at Shinjuku station

【ICT Photography Contest in Mt. Takao】

Participants who only use smart phones (e.g. iPhone, Android and more) can join the contest. The winner (who takes the best photo) will be chosen at last, and get a special
prize of the contest from the event organizer, Mari!

Good luck with taking memorable and more amazing photos!

【Things to Bring】

!! Attention !!

LUNCH, DRINKs (or buy them at convince store before meeting), hiking shoes/boots, casual clothes, rain gear, and blue sheet (picnic sheet).

*We will have a lunch on the ground.

【Notice】

Please DO NOT take alcohol until we finish hiking even though alcoholic beverages might be sold at the huts.

【Meeting Time and Place】

Outside Exit West (西口, Nishi-guchi), SHINJUKU station, KEIO line at 8:30am

• DON'T be late, the train leaves at 9:00am

• Find a Meetup sign

【Cost】

Transportation Cost: 1,510 yen (included round train tickets from Shinjuku, one-way cable car/lift fares).

Organizer Fee: 300 yen/day

*NOT included: lunch, souvenirs, and drinks
