Join us for Chicago's biggest and best best gaming meetup!

Every Wednesday night starting about 4 PM we have open board game play deep into the night. It is a great mix of strategy, party and family games. There is no charge for this event and people are encouraged to bring games or to borrow one from our 2000+ game lending library. We typically have a good mix of new and experienced gamers. It is a very friendly crowd and everyone is willing to learn or teach a game.

Eat, drink, play games and meet new friends at Snakes & Lattes Chicago! This is a friendly and inclusive group that is great for everyone from beginners to advanced gamers. With over 600 games available in the game vault, there is something for everyone - Plus! Game teachers are available to help with rules and game play. Some popular games played recently include: Deception, Wavelength, Someone has Died, Splendor, Tiny Towns, and Azul. You can bring your own game but it must take less than an hour and not be intimidating for beginners.

Rules:
All attendees must either pay the $7 gaming admission OR make an $7 minimum food and/or beverage purchase. Host will ask for receipt upon exit.

If you RSVP and do not come, you will no longer be allowed to attend. Please change your RSVP 24 hours in advance if your plans change.

Be prepared to switch groups/tables throughout the evening. If there are no open spots initially, grab a drink and hang out until there are enough free players for a new game!

We have regular closed group diners as well as the board game group, please respect the space and other patrons by following our guidelines for entering the vault and wearing masks outside the designated area.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Any personal games must be disclosed to the host on arrival.

TRANSIT: we STRONGLY suggest biking or taking public transit. Armitage 73 bus; Milwaukee 56 ; and blue line Western stop. Street parking is available but limited.

Join the Ravenswood Neighbors Association on the 2nd Thursday of every month for our Ravenswood Board Game Meetup! Bring your own games or play one of ours. We play a wide range of tabletop games, from strategy to party games, one-shots, beginner to advanced, lightweight to heavyweight games, in small to large groups. We are a friendly community, and there is always someone willing to do teach-and-plays. Some of the games in our collection include Carcassonne, Dixit, Space Base, Tsuro, Ticket to Ride, Catan, Splendor, Azul, Wyrmspan, Flip 7 and many more!

Time: 6:30pm-10pm every 2nd Thursday of the month
Location: 1900 W. Leland Avenue, Chicago, IL 60640 (Chicago Northside Church of the Nazarene, basement level)
Cost: FREE!
Getting There/Parking: It's a short walk from the Damen Brown Line stop and the Ravenswood UP-N Metra station. Our event host offers free parking in their lot (east of the main entrance on Leland). Free street parking can be found on the 1900 block of W. Leland, as well as N. Ravenswood Avenue. Please check all blocks for parking signage (some are permit only).
Concessions/Food: A small selection of water, soda, and snacks will be available for purchase. Proceeds are split with our event hosts (who are providing gaming space for free). You may bring food (no alcohol at this location).
RSVPs: We will cap attendance at 40 people. If you have registered and can’t attend, please release your spot so someone else can join us. Hope to see you there!
