The Claris Beyond group is open to all experience levels and we encourage people to bring questions, problems, and share innovative solutions.
Our user group’s specific focus will be on topics related to external integrations with FileMaker, such as Claris Connect, REST API integration, or integration via a third-party tool or application.
We meet through Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month, for an hour to an hour and a half, starting at 12pm Pacific (2pm CT / 3pm ET). Meetings are a mixture of leader-led discussions, group Q&A, and guest speaker presentations. Each meeting ends with breakout sessions - Continue the Conversation and Joint Problem Solving - so you can ask more questions or get collaborative help with an issue you're tackling.

AI Assisted FMS Log Analysis
·オンラインオンラインJohn Newhoff, of Portage Bay, and Connor Brock, of Claris, will explore how AI tools can be used to analyze FileMaker Server logs. They will be reviewing several analysis scripts designed to process FMS log data and generate clear summary reports, helping identify trends, performance issues, and other useful insights.
Later on, they'll be taking a look at how a large language model can be used to interactively chat about log data, making it easier to spot patterns, ask questions, and better understand what’s happening behind the scenes in your FileMaker environment.12pm PT / 2pm CT / 3pm ET / 8pm GMT

OttoFMS & Otto Deploy (with Kyle Duval, Proof+Geist)

Kyle Duval from Proof+Geist and Evan Meeks from Portage Bay Solutions will be on hand to talk about using OttoFMS and OttoDeploy to move beyond manual data migration and toward fully automated, low-downtime workflows. If you're looking to eliminate midnight maintenance or scale your dev-to-production cycle, this session offers insight into a great option. Kyle will also cover Otto’s MCP features for AI integration.
