詳細

Have you ever seen a movie and didn’t understand what the big deal was? Or perhaps always wanted to participate in the enjoyment of films but felt intimidated at the sheer volume and don’t know where to start?

Whether you consider yourself a seasoned cinemaphile or you’re someone who rarely enters a theater, you will learn a new POV on film when you attend HOW TO WATCH A MOVIE with ALEX T THOMAS.

Alex T Thomas is a comedian, artist and former employee at not one but TWO independent video stores (Viva La Scarecrow!) Most importantly, an EXPERT movie enthusiast.

Movies are the ultimate art form, combining all other art forms into one 90 minute ride meant to evoke all our senses, emotions and basic sense of humanity. Movies are mirrors, lessons, time capsules, peeks into other cultures and above all else a hyper surreal package of human expression.

While art is subjective, HOW to watch a movie is simple. Join Alex T Thomas as she teaches the basics on HOW to watch a movie (with snacks and special drinks!) and then leads by example guiding you with a full watch-through of a specially selected film that is sure to light up every part of your brain and remind you why you’re alive.

A combination comedy-classroom-movie-watching-extravaganza!
