Both Drupal and Joomla! are world's famous open source technologies of CMS, web application frameworks. However, many of us have few opportunities to know other products and community activities other than the ones we usually use. We believe that knowing the concept and ideas of other CMS will enable us to understand already familiar technologies even more.
Also, understanding the mutual technologies would help us to comprehend the fundamental theories that usually don't come to the surface, which will make it easier for us to learn other new technologies as well.
Please come join us, let's enjoy the first experimental meeting together.

About Drupal Cafe:
We held regular meetups (benkyokai) in Kyoto starting in 2009, but wanted a place where Drupal-related topics could be discussed and information exchanged more freely so we decided to change the name and restart the group as the Drupal Cafe.
We’re planning to hold Drupal Cafe meetings monthly (tentatively the 3rd or 4th Fri. of each month). The location will alternate between Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, so feel free to stop by and join us to talk about Drupal when you can!
