Making friends as an adult shouldn’t be this hard, that’s why we started DFW Young & Social! This group is all about making it easier to meet new people, try new things, and build real connections. No membership fees, no pressure. Just fun, welcoming events where you can show up, be yourself, and connect with great people.

Beginner Ceilidh Scottish Dance Class
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USLooking for a fun and social way to start your evening? Join us for our Beginner Ceilidh Dance Class! Ceilidh dancing comes from Scottish and Irish folk traditions and features simple group formations, lively music, and lots of shared movement.
Each week we’ll guide everyone through the steps and patterns so you can jump in quickly, even if you’ve never danced before. No partner or prior experience is required, just bring comfortable shoes and a willingness to try something new.
- Single Class – $15
Dance Class Packs (Usable at all dance classes):
- $52 for 4 classes ($13 per class) | $88 for 8 classes ($11 per class) | $108 for 12 classes ($9 per class)
- $199 Monthly for Unlimited Dance Classes & Social Events

Intermediate Group Line Dance Class (Level 2)
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USReady to challenge your line dancing skills? Join us every Monday at 8:45 PM for our Intermediate Line Dancing Class. This level introduces more complex routines, quicker transitions, and increased musicality.
No formal permission is required, but the pace is faster and the dances are more layered, so comfort with foundational patterns and terminology is recommended.No partner needed. Just come ready to focus, move, and continue growing your skills in a supportive environment.
Single Class - $15 for a single class

American Mahjong Social: Learn & Open Play (3rd Tuesday)
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USJoin us on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month for American Mahjong Social, a relaxed evening for learning, playing, and connecting. From 6:00 to 7:00 pm, we offer a guided American Mahjong lesson for beginners or anyone looking for a refresher. Up until 9:00 pm, enjoy free open play at your own pace.
The lesson is $30 per person, requires a separate reservation and limited to 4 people. While open play is pay what you can / free. Donations are always appreciated to help cover expenses and keep DFW Young & Social events accessible for the community.

We have four extra-large American Mahjong sets with racks available on a first come, first serve basis, and players are welcome to bring their own sets or wait for a table to open.
- Lesson: 6:00–7:00 pm, $30 per person | Head to the other event posting to purchase a spot. Seats are limited to 4 people.
- Open Play: 6:00–9:00 pm | Pay what you can, House Sets are first come, first serve
