This week we will be looking at traditional New Year must-haves. Share with us which ones you have or you can also share about soemone else's New Year traditional must-haves. Not to worry if you cannot think of any, just join our ZOOM meeting and hear the sharing from others. Take the opportunity to learn about another culture and also to join the conversations. Let us practise listening and speaking English together. More importantly each of our meeting is a time of sincere, interesting, uplifting and at times even humorous conversations.

At English Across Cultures, we welcome all levels of English learners to come and practice speaking English by giving a 5-minute sharing on the topic of the night. You may use something to help with your sharing - an article, a website, a photo or a simple presentation - though these are not compulsory.

Do not worry if you are not prepared to share, you are still welcome to join us! Come, listen and chip in when you are ready. We are simply here to learn and to support one another on this journey to becoming more fluent in the English language. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!

Important information:
1. You will receive the new link when you RSVP to our meeting.
2. RSVP close time : 8.00pm JPT on the day of the meet up
3. Participants in our meetings need to switch on their cameras. This will help us to help each other if there are times when we are not sure how to express in English what we want to say.
4. We meet on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.
