Free Language Exchange event in Tokyo! Feel free to enter or exit anytime during the event.
As this day is the last Saturday before Christmas and also the last Saturday to operate in 2017, we have organized a Christmas Special "Gift Exchange" event! Everyone joining this event is required to bring a gift to give to someone else during the event :)
The gift is to be around JPY 500, so do not go over the budget too much to keep things fair for everyone. You will not know who will receive your gift, or which gift you will get until the very last moment, so it will be a surprise for everyone!

ENGLISH ONLY CAFE's Language Exchange aims to create an environment that is friendly and accessible to any group of people, and to provide an ideal opportunity for those who want to make friends with people all over the world, but are hesitant of going to parties and other loud social gatherings. The participants are very diverse in age, gender and nationality. What they all have in common is that they come to learn and have an international experience, so this event is suitable for such people who are serious about learning but also want to have a good time. Our venue is exclusively used for the Language Exchange during the event hours.
No specific level is required for any language and free of charge for anyone. With our daily Language Exchange session, there are thirty minutes sessions alternating between English and Japanese conversation time, so that both language speakers have a chance to learn and teach a language. The conversations are conducted in small groups of three or four people so it is easier to engage in a conversation without it being awkward even for beginners of either language.
The admission fee is completely free, just pay for your drink on your way in. You can enjoy English conversations and international relationships at the same price as going to an ordinary cafe.
This event is a great opportunity to make new friends, and to date has had participants from over fifty countries all over the world.

この日はクリスマス前最後の土曜日、さらに2017年度最後の土曜営業日ということで、クリスマス・スペシャル【プレゼント交換会】を企画いたしました！
当日はプレゼント交換用のプレゼント（500円程度のもの）をご用意の上、お越しくださいませ。公平性を保つためにも、500円の予算はあまり超えないようにしてくださいね。
ご持参いただいたプレゼントが誰の手元に渡るのか、自分は誰のプレゼントを受け取るのかは、当日のお楽しみです♪

『ENGLISH ONLY CAFE』のランゲージ・エクスチェンジは、留学カフェというコンセプトの店舗にて、専用のスペースを設けて開催しています。誰とでも気軽に話ができる雰囲気を大事にしているため、外国の人と友達になりたい、だけどパーティのような、社交場は苦手な方でも気軽に馴染めるアットホームな雰囲気です。参加者は国籍、年齢、性別関係なく様々な方がいらっしゃいます。共通点は、英語や日本語などの言語を学びたい、国際交流がしたいということです。真剣に、楽しく、充実した時間を過ごしたい方に最適です。
英語初心者大歓迎、どなたでも参加無料で毎日開催中です。毎日開催しているランゲージ・エクスチェンジの回では、参加者が英語・日本語を教える側と学ぶ側にまわれるよう、30分ごとに英語と日本語の会話時間が入れ替わる仕組みになっています。複数の人でグループを作って行い、また実際に参加する外国人の方は日本語が堪能な方が多いので、英語初心者でも英語に自信がない方でも気軽にご参加いただけます。
参加費は無料、費用はドリンク代だけです。一般的なカフェに行くのと同じ費用で英会話や国際交流を楽しめます。
今まで世界50ヶ国以上の方が参加している、国際色豊かなランゲージ・エクスチェンジですので、国際交流を学ぶ機会としても有効です。
