We are pleased to announce that, with the cooperation of the Hōshō Noh Theater, we will be holding an observation and hands-on experience session for the traditional Japanese performing art of Noh.

Noh, boasting a history of over 600 years, is one of the world's oldest performing arts and is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. It consists of Noh, which values the beauty of yugen (subtle elegance), and the dynamic Kyogen, and has been passed down to this day as an art form symbolizing Japanese culture.

First, let's enjoy English conversation and international exchange at the cafe, deepening friendships in a relaxed atmosphere.

Afterwards, we'll all take a stroll from the cafe to Suidobashi and head to the Hosho Noh Theater for the tour.

At the Hōshō Noh Theater, you can learn about Noh theater, explore the theater itself, and even watch a live Noh performance. You can also experience Noh behind the scenes in areas normally off-limits to the public, including the dressing rooms.

Immerse yourself in the serene and profound world of Noh and enjoy a moment of connection with Japan's traditional culture.

This is a casual and welcoming event open to everyone. You are welcome to attend alone, and leaving early is also possible, so please feel free to join us.

🌙 Hosho Noh Theater Tour Details
- Explanation of Noh theater, the Hosho Noh Theater, and Noh schools such as the Hosho-ryu.
- Explanation of the Noh stage from the theater's audience seats.
- Noh experience in areas normally inaccessible to the public: backstage areas and dressing rooms (including suriashi footwork, simple movements, and chanting practice).
: During tours and trial sessions, explanations will primarily be in Japanese, though we will provide simple supplementary explanations in English
: If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at any time

🌙 Attention
- From 2:30 to 3:30 PM, you can participate in meetups at the café.
- Please arrive at the café by 3:00 PM at the latest.
- If you do not order a drink, we will charge a participation fee of 500 JPY.
- Please note that you cannot join this meetup after it has left the café.
- We will proceed even if it is raining, but in case of severe weather or other circumstances making it difficult to proceed, we will cancel. In such cases, you may participate in international meetups at the café until the end.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking.
- No bicycles or similar items allowed.
- You cannot apply for this meetup after arriving at the café on the day of this event.

このたび、宝生能楽堂のご協力により、日本の伝統芸能「能楽」の見学・体験会を開催いたします。

能楽（のうがく）は、約600年以上の歴史を誇る世界最古の舞台芸術のひとつで、ユネスコ無形文化遺産にも登録されています。幽玄（ゆうげん）の美を大切にした能と、躍動感あふれる狂言から成り立ち、日本文化を象徴する芸術として今日まで受け継がれてきました。

まずはカフェで英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、和やかな雰囲気の中で親睦を深めましょう。

その後、カフェから皆で水道橋まで散歩をし、宝生能楽堂の見学へ向かいます。

宝生能楽堂では能楽についてや宝生能楽堂のご案内、実際に能楽の舞台もご覧いただけます。そして普段は入ることができない能楽堂の裏側、楽屋内での能楽体験ができます。

静謐で奥深い能楽の世界を体感し、日本の伝統文化に親しむひとときをぜひお楽しみください。

* 主に日本語でのご説明となりますが、英語での簡単な補足もいたします
