Koishikawa Korakuen is one of Tokyo’s oldest daimyo gardens, originally built in the early Edo period, and is ranked among Japan’s nine most representative gardens. This strolling-style landscape garden is centered around a large pond and incorporates scenery inspired by famous Chinese landscapes, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the four seasons. Despite being located in the heart of the city, it offers a peaceful atmosphere rich in history.

First, we will enjoy English conversation and international exchange at a café in a relaxed and friendly setting. After that, we will walk to Koishikawa Korakuen together.

The Koishikawa Korakuen Plum Festival is an annual early-spring event held at this renowned garden. Approximately 100 plum trees bloom throughout the grounds, and around February, when the white and red blossoms reach their peak, the garden is filled with their sweet fragrance and beautiful scenery.

Within this historic Edo-period strolling garden, you can experience the changing seasons while still in the city. During the festival period, many visitors come to enjoy a leisurely walk, and you will often see people taking photographs or sketching the scenery.

The view of the pond and landscaped hills framed by plum blossoms is especially breathtaking, offering a quiet and refined atmosphere where you can appreciate traditional Japanese beauty and the arrival of spring.
This is a casual and welcoming event open to everyone.

You are welcome to join alone, and leaving early is also perfectly fine. Please feel free to participate.

* Admission fee: 300 yen
* Cashless payments (credit cards, electronic money, QR code payments, etc.) are accepted at ticket machines. Cash is not accepted.

📍Front Plaza of Weeping Cherry Tree (2:00 PM)
* Participate in a free 1-hour Japanese guided tour.
* Please note that participation may not be possible if the group size is large.
* If unable to join the tour, you may explore freely.
↓
📍Dismissal (4:00 PM)
* The nearest station is JR Suidobashi Station (5-minute walk).

🌸 Important Notice
- This is not a guided tour, so no guide will be provided.
- From 12:00 to 1:10 PM, you can participate in meetups at the café.
- Last call for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, a participation fee of ¥500 will be charged.
- Please arrive at the cafe by 1:00 PM at the latest.
- Joining midway after departure is not permitted.
- You cannot register for this event upon arrival at the cafe on the day.
- After departure, we will not return to the cafe; the event will conclude at the destination.
- If severe weather or other conditions make departure difficult, you may remain at the cafe and enjoy the social gathering until its conclusion.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking.
- You may not bring bicycles to the event.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer. We will direct you to the nearest station.

小石川後楽園は、日本を代表する9つの庭園に選ばれた、江戸時代初期に造られた東京最古級の大名庭園です。池を中心とした回遊式庭園で、中国の名勝を模した景観も取り入れられており、四季折々の自然を楽しめます。都心にありながら、歴史と静けさを感じられる名園です。

まずはカフェで英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、和やかな雰囲気の中で親睦を深めましょう。その後、徒歩で小石川後楽園へ向かいます。

小石川後楽園梅まつりは、毎年開催される早春を彩る恒例行事です。園内には約100本の梅の木が植えられており、白梅や紅梅が見頃を迎える2月頃には、甘い香りとともに美しい景色が広がります。

江戸時代初期に造られた歴史ある回遊式庭園の中で、都会にいながら四季の移ろいを感じられるのが魅力です。期間中は園内散策を楽しむ来園者でにぎわい、写真撮影や写生を楽しむ方の姿も多く見られます。

梅の花越しに眺める池や築山の景観は格別で、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気の中、日本の伝統美と春の訪れを感じることができます。

どなたでも気軽にご参加いただける、カジュアルで安心感のあるイベントです。お一人でのご参加はもちろん、途中退出も可能ですので、どうぞお気軽にご参加ください。
