A special spring-only night walk to discover one of Tokyo’s hidden cherry blossom spots. 🌙🌸

Located in Edogawa City, Shinkawa Senbonzakura is a beautiful cherry-blossom-lined riverside where about 1,000 cherry trees stretch along the Shinkawa River. At night, the illuminated blossoms reflect on the water, creating a magical, movie-like night sakura view.

First, we will meet at the café and enjoy English conversation and international meetups in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

After that, we will take the Toei Shinjuku Line from Ogawamachi Station to Funabori Station. Near the station, we will visit the observation deck of Funabori Lock Gate, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo’s traditional downtown area (Shitamachi).

Then we will walk to the Shinkawa riverside to see the famous cherry blossoms. Strolling along the approximately 2 km cherry blossom promenade, you can experience a beautiful tunnel of sakura. There are benches and riverside areas along the way where you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful night blossoms.

Finally, we will cross the majestic Edogawa River and head to Urayasu Station.

🌙 Route

📍 Toei Shinjuku Line: Ogawamachi Station → Funabori Station (7:00 PM)
The train fare is 280 JPY.

📍 Tower Hall Funabori
A large cultural complex located in front of Funabori Station, featuring a hall, a movie theater, and a free observation tower where you can enjoy views of Tokyo.
From the 115-meter-high observation deck, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the city. On clear days, you may even see Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji in the distance.

📍 Shinkawa Senbonzakura (7:30 PM)
A hidden cherry blossom spot in Tokyo where about 1,000 cherry trees line the banks of the Shinkawa River.
In spring evenings, the illuminated cherry blossoms reflect on the water, creating a magical night view. It’s a peaceful riverside walk where you can enjoy a beautiful tunnel of cherry blossoms.

- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an 800 JPY participation fee will be charged.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

東京の隠れた桜スポットを歩く、春限定のスペシャルナイトウォークです。🌙🌸

江戸川区にある 新川千本桜 は、新川沿いに約1,000本の桜が続く美しい桜並木。夜になるとライトアップされた桜が川面に映り、まるで映画のような幻想的な夜桜の景色が広がります。

当日はまずカフェに集合し、英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、リラックスした雰囲気で交流を深めます。

その後、都営新宿線で 小川町駅 から 船堀駅 へ移動。船堀駅前にある 船堀ロックゲート の展望台に上り、東京の下町を一望できるパノラマビューを楽しみます。

その後、新川まで歩き、川沿いに広がる千本桜へ。約2km続く桜並木を散策しながら、春の桜トンネルをゆっくり歩きます。途中にはベンチや河川敷もあり、写真を撮ったり、のんびり夜桜を楽しむこともできます。

最後は雄大な 江戸川 を渡り、浦安駅 へ向かいます。

- ドリンクのご注文がない場合は、参加費として800円を頂戴いたします。

- 当日、カフェ到着後のお申し込みはできません。
- 目的地にて現地解散となります。
- 当日の参加者が3名未満の場合や荒天時は中止となりますが、その際はカフェにて各種交流会をお楽しみいただけますので、ぜひカフェまでお越しください。
