We’re hosting a spring-limited night walk event exploring two cherry blossom festivals in the historic area of Nihonbashi—often considered the origin of Tokyo—and the neighboring Yaesu district! 🌸

Nihonbashi flourished during the Edo period as the starting point of the Five Major Roads. Today, it is a fascinating area where long-established shops and historic architecture blend seamlessly with modern commercial facilities, allowing you to experience both the past and present of Tokyo at once.

During this season, the Nihonbashi and Yaesu areas are beautifully decorated with sakura-themed illuminations and displays, creating a vibrant spring atmosphere. At night, lanterns and food stalls line the streets, offering a truly Japanese festival experience 🏮✨

We’ll begin by meeting at a café, where you can enjoy English conversation and an international meetup in a relaxed setting. After a short self-introduction to break the ice, we’ll head out together to explore the Nihonbashi area.

At the Nihonbashi Sakura Festival, we’ll stroll through the historic streets illuminated with cherry blossom lights, take photos, and enjoy meeting new people while soaking in the spring night atmosphere 📸

Afterward, we’ll move to the Yaesu area to experience the more local and cozy Nihachikai Sakura Festival, where you can enjoy a more authentic, community-style spring celebration.

Whether you’re a traveler, a Tokyo resident, or simply interested in Japanese culture, everyone is welcome! Many people join solo, so feel free to come on your own 😊

Completed in 1896, this historic building features a solid stone structure inspired by Western Renaissance architecture. It is considered one of the masterpieces of modern Japanese architecture.

📍 Nihonbashi Sakura Festival
A modern, city-style cherry blossom event that colors the Nihonbashi area in spring.
In addition to real cherry blossoms, the entire district is filled with a festive spring atmosphere through sakura-themed decorations, illuminations, and creative displays.

📍 Nihachikai Sakura Festival
A local cherry blossom festival organized by the Nihachikai, a group of businesses and shops from the Nihonbashi and Yaesu areas.
Despite being in the heart of the city, it offers a warm, local festival vibe, giving you a more authentic and relaxed Japanese experience.

- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an 800 JPY participation fee will be charged.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

東京の原点ともいえる歴史ある街、日本橋と、隣接する八重洲で行われる2つの桜祭りをめぐる春限定のナイトウォークイベントを開催します！🌸

日本橋は江戸時代、五街道の起点として栄えた由緒あるエリア。老舗の名店や歴史的建築と、現代的な商業施設が融合し、東京の「過去」と「現在」を同時に感じられる魅力的な街です。

春のこの時期、日本橋・八重洲エリアは桜の装飾やライトアップで華やかな雰囲気に包まれます。夜になると提灯の灯りや屋台が並び、日本らしいお祭りの空気を楽しむことができます🏮✨

まずはカフェに集合し、英会話や国際交流を楽しみながらリラックスした雰囲気で交流します。自己紹介で打ち解けた後、みんなで日本橋エリアへ出発！

「日本橋さくらフェスティバル」では、歴史ある街並みと桜のライトアップを楽しみながら散策し、写真を撮ったり、参加者同士で交流したりと、東京の春の夜を満喫しましょう📸

その後は八重洲エリアへ移動し、よりローカルな「日八会さくらまつり」を体験。日本の春ならではの夜の楽しみ方を味わえます。
