Join us for a special walking event to experience the best of autumn in Tokyo on Culture Day!

☕ Meet at the Café First!
Start by joining our international meetup at the café, where you can enjoy conversations in English and Japanese.
Before we head out, we’ll have a dedicated table for walking event participants, giving everyone a chance to get to know each other. Even if it’s your first time or you’re coming alone, you can feel comfortable and enjoy meeting new people throughout the walk!

First, we’ll head to the Bunkyo Chrysanthemum Festival at Yushima Tenmangu Shrine.
Admire the colorful chrysanthemums and beautiful chrysanthemum displays while experiencing traditional Japanese culture and the charm of autumn! ⛩️🍁

Next, we’ll travel to Ueno and visit the National Museum of Nature and Science, which offers free admission to its permanent exhibitions on Culture Day. Discover the fascinating worlds of nature and science! 🔬🌏

📍 ENGLISH ONLY CAFE (2:30–3:15 PM)
Start by joining our international meetup at the café, where you can enjoy casual conversations in both Japanese and English.
Before we head out, we’ll have a table just for walking participants so you can get to know each other and connect before the walk. This makes it easy for first-time and solo participants to feel comfortable and enjoy chatting with everyone throughout the walk!

📍 Chrysanthemum Festival (3:35 PM)
The Bunkyo Chrysanthemum Festival is an annual autumn event held at Yushima Tenmangu Shrine. The venue features colorful chrysanthemums carefully cultivated by skilled growers, as well as elaborate chrysanthemum dolls and other displays. Enjoy the beauty of traditional Japanese chrysanthemums and experience the charm of autumn in Japan! 🌼🍁

📍 Free Admission on Culture Day (4:00 PM)
On Culture Day, some museums and art museums offer free admission. In Ueno, the following museums are scheduled to offer free admission to their permanent collections:
- Tokyo National Museum: Free admission to the regular collection exhibitions.
- The National Museum of Western Art: Free admission to the permanent collection.
- National Museum of Nature and Science: Free admission to the permanent exhibitions.
We will visit the National Museum of Nature and Science together.

🏺 Important Notes
- This is not a guided tour.
- Please arrive by the "Departure Time". You cannot join the event after departure.
- The last order for drinks is 30 minutes before the departure time.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional ¥500 will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Same-day registration at the cafe is not available.
- The event will be canceled if fewer than three people are attending or in case of severe weather. In such cases, you are welcome to join one of our various events at the cafe instead.
- If you leave the event early, please let the organizer know.

✨💡 光と菊の花と博物館を楽しむ、文化の日の東京ウォーキング！ 🌸🎌

今回は、文化の日に合わせて、秋の東京を満喫するウォーキングイベントを開催します！

☕ まずはカフェに集合！
まずはカフェで開催されている国際交流会に参加し、日本語や英語での会話を楽しみましょう。
出発前にはウォーキング参加者用のテーブルを設け、親睦を深めてから出発するので、初参加やお一人でも自然に打ち解け、ウォーキング中も楽しく交流できます！

カフェを出発した後は、湯島天満宮の「文京菊まつり」へ向かいます。
色とりどりの菊の花や美しい菊人形を鑑賞しながら、日本の伝統文化と秋の風情を楽しみましょう！⛩️🍁

そして上野へ移動し、当日、文化の日に無料公開される国立科学博物館を訪れ、自然や科学の世界に触れてみましょう！🔬🌏

午後5時からは創エネ・あかりパークで幻想的な光を満喫！
光の演出やエネルギーに関する展示など、さまざまな企画を楽しみます。秋の夕暮れから夜にかけて、光に彩られた特別なひとときを過ごしましょう！💡🌌
