What is this?
A walkable pilgrimage around Yanaka, Nishi-Nippori, and Ueno, visiting 7 temples/shrines that each house one of the Seven Lucky Gods — a traditional shichifukujin-meguri (七福神巡り) for good luck and blessings in the New Year.

🧭 What We’ll Do
Visit a series of temples/shrines honoring the Seven Lucky Gods
(including 福禄寿, 恵比寿, 布袋尊, 寿老人, 毘沙門天, 大黒天, 弁財天)
Collect stamps (“goshuin”) or blessings at each stop (optional)
Walk through charming old-Tokyo streets, small parks, and historic graveyards
Take photos, learn about local traditions, and enjoy conversations along the way

The pilgrimage can take 2–4+ hours depending on rest, photos, and crowd
Comfortable shoes recommended — we’ll be walking a fair distance
