🍵 Tea & Zen Stories at Mandaracha Tea House
Every Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Limited to 8 participants
Step away from the noise of daily life and enter the serene world of Mandaracha Tea House in Kyoto.

Each Wednesday, we gather for an intimate tea session that combines the quiet ritual of tea with the wisdom of Zen kōan—short, paradoxical stories meant to awaken insight and reflection.

This is not a lecture, nor a ceremony in strict formality, but rather a living experience:

  • Share a carefully selected tea, and a shoujin dessert, to nourish our session.
  • Listen to and contemplate timeless Zen stories that spark curiosity and dialogue.
  • Engage in gentle conversation that connects tradition, philosophy, and everyday life.

About the Host

Based in Kyoto, he combines tradition with innovation—curating premium Japanese teas from organic farms while also teaching Global Marketing at a local university. His vision is to create meaningful encounters through tea, where history, taste, and mindfulness come together.
