[Sakai] Japanese Garden Walk & Two Styles of Tea Picnic (Sencha & Matcha)
詳細
Let’s enjoy a relaxing afternoon at Daisen Park in Sakai! Join a Certified Japanese Tea Instructor for a unique cultural walk. We will experience two contrasting styles of tea: the free-spirited "Outdoor Sencha" and the traditional "Matcha."
This is a casual Meetup for tea lovers, culture seekers, and anyone who loves nature.
📅 Itinerary
1. Meeting Point
- Meet in front of the Daisen Park Japanese Garden Gate.
2. "Teiran" Picnic (Outdoor Sencha Experience)
- First, we will find a quiet, green spot in the park near the garden.
- I will brew premium Sencha (Leaf tea) using my antique portable tea basket ("Teiran").
- 🍱 BYO Snacks: I will serve the tea, but please bring your own sweets, snacks, or light food to enjoy with it. Let's have a relaxing tea time on the grass!
3. Japanese Garden Walk
- After the picnic, we will enter the beautiful Daisen Park Japanese Garden.
- We will stroll around the large pond, wooden bridges, and seasonal landscapes. It is a perfect place for photography and mindfulness.
4. Matcha at Historic Tea House "Shin-an"
- Our final stop is the "Shin-an" Tea House, a registered tangible cultural property located inside the garden grounds.
- Here, we will switch styles to Matcha. We will sit (chairs available) and enjoy powdered green tea. (Note: Matcha service here usually includes a small Japanese sweet).
