たった第４回で、川口花火大会は東京周辺の新しい大きい大会でもある。知名度はまだまだ低いし、季節外れとのこともあって、混みあい状態も割りとないと思います（手中するところはあるが）。年内、東京周辺の最後の大きい大会だと思うので、得にまだまだ花火を見ていない人にたいして、これが来年の夏まで最後のチャンスです（お台場の短いイベントはまだあるけど）。

On only it's fourth iteration, the Kawaguchi show is one of the newest big fireworks shows in the Tokyo area. It's still not so famous, and it's kind of 'out of season', so the crowding also tends to be on the lower side (though there are some busy spots). To my knowledge, this is the last big show in the Tokyo area for the year, so especially for people who haven't seen any shows this year so far, it may be the last chance before summer next year.

Meeting point is outside Kita-Akabane Station, 5:00pm. As with most fireworks shows, the area will still get a bit busy, so please try to arrive on time. For any latecomers, I will post the location of the viewing spot on the day once it's been decided. We will be somewhere on Arakawa riverside, 10-15 minutes walk from the station.

集合場所は北赤羽駅（JR）に、17時。駅周辺は込み合うと思うので、できるだけ早く来てくればさいわいです。遅く来る人がいたら、当日、具体的に場所を掲載する。荒川沿いのどこかになると思います。駅から１０－１5分程度の歩き。

Meetup Schedule:
5:00pm - Meet outside Kita-Akabane Station - Ukima Exit
~5:10pm - Head towards the viewing spot.
6:00pm - Fireworks start
7:00pm - Fireworks end

NOTE:
We will be watching from outside of any official area, so no event toilets or food stalls will be present. I believe there will be a toilet within a 4-6 min walk of the viewing area. There is a convenience store near the meeting spot.
公式会場外の観覧になるので、特設トイレや屋台などない。徒歩４－６分程度のところで、トイレがあると思う。あと、集合場所のあたりにコンビニがある。

Note for photographers:
We will be somewhat close to where the fireworks are being launched, but not super close. 16-18mm (Crop) or ~24mm (FF) was sufficient for me in the past.

今回は観覧場所が打ち上げ場所からやや近いけど、標準レンズは多分十分だと思う。16ｍｍ（クロップ）・24ｍｍ（ＦＦ）は過去この大会で十分だった。
