A Word from the Organizer: When I graduated from university, my English was limited, barely beyond phrases like “this is a pen”. However, in 2018, inspired by a life event, I began attending English conversation groups. The journey was challenging initially, often feeling out of place and even considering giving up.
Fortunately, a meeting with a foreign friend changed everything. Eager to learn Japanese, he and I teamed up for mutual language exchange. Our tiny group, initially just three of us, grew to events with 40+ attendees! With support, my English improved, and these connections became some of my closest friends.
I started this community to give back, helping visitors in Japan experience our culture and form genuine friendships, just as I had. While this group welcomes foreigners, it's also for Japanese eager to learn English or make new connections. Let's celebrate and share the wonders of Japan with our international friends!

私たちのコミュニティについて：

コロナ禍前、名古屋で最も大規模な異文化交流の場として、毎週約50名の方が参加していました。
参加者の皆さんと質の高い交流をするため、入会時に参加動機や目的に関する質問をさせて頂きます。英語の能力は不問です。

注意事項：

宗教、ネットワークビジネス関連、セールス、仮想通貨や投資ビジネス関連の目的での参加はご遠慮ください。
当団体非関連のイベント勧誘も禁止とします。違反内容を発見した場合、主催者までご連絡をお願いします。

コミュニティの魅力：

週末にカフェでリラックスした雰囲気で英会話のイベントを開催。
毎月、BBQやピクニックなどの活動も企画しています。
主な参加者は20代から30代。特に女性の方が多く、安心してご参加いただけます。

このコミュニティは以下のような方におすすめ：

英語を話したい、コミュニケーションを取りたいと言う熱意が素敵なEnglishスピーカーを生み出します‼️英語が堪能な方は、是非、他の方の英語、日本語の習得のお手伝いをお願いします。Helping each otherが本当に最高な人間関係を作り出します。尚、このコミュニティではマナーを大切にしています。参加申請を行ったら連絡なしでのキャンセルはマナー違反とします。あまりにもマナー違反が多い方は除名します。

最後に、主催者のHaru37が本Meetup設立に至るまでの経緯を載せます。

僕の大学生卒業時のTOEICの点数は280点でした！
This is a pen.ぐらいなら話せましたが、会話は全く無理でした。
しかし、2018/01、海外での事業展開のお誘いを友人から受けてから、英語に興味を持ち、英会話のイベントに参加し始めました。
ただ、初めの頃は何を皆が話しているのか、何故笑っているのか、全く分かりませんでした。
作り笑いをしながら2時間を過ごした事もあります。
とても悔しかったです。英語を話すことを諦めようと思いました。

しかし、一人の外国人との出会いで大きく考え方が変わりました。
彼は日本語を勉強したい外国人でした。
僕が英語を勉強したいと彼に伝えたら、
お互い英語と日本語を教え合おう！

と意気投合し、一緒に言語交換活動を始めました。
最初は日本人2名、外国人1名でスタートし、
毎週土日必ず2時間欠かさずカフェで言語交換をしました。
次第に仲間が増えてゆき、
今では毎週50人以上参加するイベントになりました。
沢山の外国人の友達にサポートしてもらって、
僕は英語で楽しく会話ができるようになりました。

感謝してもしきれないです。彼らは僕の人生の中でとても大切な親友になってくれました。
だから、僕は日本に訪れている外国人に恩返しがしたいです。

日本で素晴らしい景色を見て、伝統ある文化を体感し、最高な友達を作って貰いたいです。

日本は最高な国だよ！と思ってもらえるようにこのコミュニティを作りました。
勿論、英語を学びたいと思っている日本人の方、
外国の友達が欲しいと持っている方も仲良くしてください！
日本の素晴らしさを外国から来た人たちに一緒に発信していきましょう♪

Looking for a wine tasting event, wine party, or international meetup in Nagoya?

We are hosting a beginner-friendly wine event in Nagoya for Japanese locals, international residents, wine lovers, and people who want to make new friends through wine and conversation.

You do not need to know a lot about wine.
This event is perfect for beginners who want to enjoy wine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

This event is recommended for people who want to:

・Try a wine tasting event in Nagoya

・Learn more about wine in an easy and fun way

・Enjoy natural wine and orange wine

・Meet Japanese and international friends

・Find a new hobby or community in Nagoya

・Enjoy wine, food, and conversation in a beautiful private party room

At this wine event, we will prepare a variety of wines, including sparkling wine, white wine, orange wine, red wine, natural wine, French wine, Italian wine, South African wine, and more.

We will also compare natural wines and clean-style wines so you can enjoy the differences in aroma, fruitiness, body, aftertaste, and drinking style.

This is not a formal wine lecture.
You can naturally learn about wine while enjoying food, conversation, and a relaxed international atmosphere.

For each wine, we will prepare simple and easy-to-understand explanations, such as:

・Grape variety

・Country and region

・Sweetness and dryness

・Body

・Taste profile

・Food pairing ideas

We plan to prepare wines that would often cost around 10,000〜20,000 yen per bottle at a restaurant, including Champagne to start the event.

We will begin with Champagne, then enjoy white wine, orange wine, and red wine.

This is a great chance to discover your favorite wine style while meeting new people in Nagoya.

After you request to join, the organizer will send you a message.

Your seat and venue details will be confirmed after payment is completed.

After your payment is confirmed, we will prepare wine, food, and your seat.
For this reason, payments are non-refundable.

If the event is cancelled by the organizer, you will receive a full refund.

名古屋でワイン会、ワインイベント、ワインテイスティング、国際交流イベントを探している方へ。

日本人のワイン初心者、在日外国人、ワイン好きの方、新しい友達や趣味のコミュニティを探している方が気軽に参加できる、初心者歓迎の名古屋ワイン会を開催します🍷

ワインに詳しくなくても大丈夫です。

夜景が一望できる綺麗な貸切パーティールームで、ワインを飲み比べながら、自分の好みの味わいを見つけてみませんか？

今回のワイン会では、話題のナチュラルワインと、一般的なクリーンなスタイルのワインの飲み比べも体験できます。

実際に飲み比べることで、

・香りの違い

・果実感の違い

・飲み心地の違い

・ボディ感の違い

・余韻の違い

などを楽しみながら学ぶことができます。

難しい講義形式ではなく、食事や会話を楽しみながら、自然にワインの知識が身につくスタイルです。

当日は、それぞれのワインについて分かりやすい解説もご用意します。

多数のワインをご用意するため、初心者の方でも自分好みのワインを見つけやすい内容です。
