Mixed level, men and women, everyone welcome. Enjoy football (soccer...), make friends and join our fast growing community! Expats, students, tourists, all are welcome. Many nationalities play with us. Games are run in English, but there are plenty of Japanese speakers too.
For regular players or more serious players, we have links to football teams, run tournaments and more.
WHERE | Private fields around Tokyo, Toyosu, Ochiaiminaminagasaki, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Shinagawa and Ikebukuro areas.
FORMAT | 2 hours, 3~4 teams (1 court), 7~8 teams (2 courts)
Teams are made in advance - so DM Matthew about your rough level (the first time you RSVP).
FEE | ¥1500~¥2000 per event (Depends on location).
RULES | A mix of futsal and football rules which match the courts and community we have.
4 LEVELS:
・MIXED LEVEL: all levels, for fun, social, chill. Good for first timers. Beginners also welcome (absolute beginners - please join our training sessions first)
・INT+ (INTermediate+ and INTense): Competitive. Ideally you've played futsal/football at a high level, in a team or league. More playtime.
・TOURNAMENT: For regular players or teams only.
・TRAINING: Absolute beginners and above.
CANCELLATION | LIABILITY
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the event start time must pay the fee.
- Only RSVP if you are sure to be able to attend as others are often on the waitlist. Leave a comment or message the event host if you have any other questions.
- To join and play has injury risks, so please ensure you are insured. Play responsibly to prevent any injuries to others and yourself. MATCH Tokyo takes no responsibility.

The futsal court is on the 5F. Take the elevator on the South side of the building.
Go through the court (along left) to access the changing rooms.
Arrive 5-10 minutes before the game start!
【Bring】
• Trainers, sneakers or futsal shoes (no studs or spikes). The court is astro carpet (short pile)
• Sportswear or loose clothing
• Shinpads (not required, but advisable!)
• Smiles (required!)
【Cancellation】
Cancellations within 24 hours of the event start time must pay the game fee unless a replacement can be found. Even if there is a waitlist, that does not guarantee a replacement, especially last minute.
To join and play has injury risks, so please ensure you are insured. Please play responsibly to prevent any injuries to others and yourself.

【Local Rules】
- Kick-off from the center at the start and after every goal.
- Kick-ins from the side.
- 3 meters of space between sideline ball and opponent players.
- Keeper must throw or short pass the ball if ball goes out the backline.
- No back-passes. You may pass the ball to the keeper, but the keeper cannot pick up the ball.
- No slide tackles, sliding is okay to block, collect the ball or pass, but not for tackling.
- Please referee your own games, this is a social event.
- Sportsmanship. Anyone who is too aggressive, threatening or acting irresponsibly will be stopped from playing. This includes behaviour on and off the field.
【Bring】
• Astro turf boots or Futsal TG boots are best, but trainers, sneakers or futsal shoes are okay too (NO studs or spikes).
• Sportswear or loose clothing
• Shinpads (not required, but advisable!)
• Smiles (required!)
【Cancellation】

• バックパスなしボールをキーパーにパスことはできますが、キーパーは手でボールを拾うことはできません
• スライドタックルは禁止
ブロック、ボールを集め、パスのためスライドはOKです
• 自分のゲームを審判してください。これはレクレーションです。
