🌍☕ 「Gengo Cafe」とは？

「Gengo Cafe」は、語学学習 ✖ 国際交流を通して、
国籍や背景を越え、人と人が自然につながることを目標とした言語交換イベントです。

🗣️ モットーは
「（思い切って）話して、（ゆっくり）聞いて、（自然に）つながる」。

言葉だけでなく“関係”も大切にしながら、
誰もが安心して楽しく言語を学べる場を目指しています✨

参加者みんなでリラックスしながら楽しく交流します😊

🌏 ゲスト言語タイム
その日のゲスト言語のスピーカーが、自分の母国語や出身国、文化についてシェアします。
月に2回開催✨
その国の食べ物やお菓子が紹介されたり、配られたりすることもあります🍪🍫

💬 テーブルセッション
学びたい言語のテーブルに分かれ、トピックシートに沿って会話やディスカッションをします。その日のトピックのフレーズを学ぶミニレッスンもあります。

各テーブルには全員が話せるようにサポートするテーブルリーダーがいるので、
「自分から話すのはちょっと緊張する…😅」という方も安心です✨

セッション２では、別の言語のテーブルにチャレンジしてもOK🔄
そのまま同じテーブルでじっくり続けるのもOKです！

Gengo Cafe is a language exchange event where language learning ✖ international exchange come together.
Our goal is to help people naturally connect beyond nationalities and backgrounds.

We start with either Guest Gengo Time or an Icebreaker Game!
Everyone can relax and enjoy connecting together 😊
(Conducted bilingually in Japanese & English 🇯🇵🇺🇸)

🌏 Guest Gengo Time
A speaker of the featured language shares about their native language, home country, and culture.
Held twice a month ✨
You might even get to try some snacks or treats from that country 🍪🍫

💬 Table Sessions
Join the table for the language you want to learn and enjoy conversation and discussion based on a topic sheet. We also have a mini lesson to learn key phrases related to the day’s topic.

Each table has a table leader to help guide the conversation,
so even if you feel a little shy about speaking 😅, you can join with confidence ✨

In Session 2, you can try a different language table 🔄
or stay at the same table and continue!
