Summer Fun in Kyoto🍻🍧: Beer Festival and Kakigori (Shaved Ice)

On this day, I’m planning to join the Kyoto Beer Festival — and I’d love to have some company! Let’s enjoy a few drinks together and chat while tasting local brews.

After the beer fest, we’ll head over to the Gion area (by train or bus) for Kakigori (shaved ice) at Gion Komori. It’ll probably be my last kakigori of the summer, so let’s make it count!

About the Beer Festival
• 11 breweries will be there
• First, you buy a cup for 300 yen
• Each beer after that is 700 yen

Kakigori at Komori
Hopefully it won’t be too crowded.
If we have to wait for a long time we may change place.
It costs around 1000-2000 yen per serving.

Rough Schedule
13:45 — Meet up
14:00–15:45 — Beer Festival
Move to Gion (about 20–30 minutes)
16:30 — kakigori
Wrap up by around 18:00

This isn’t a strict, perfectly planned event — just a casual plan to enjoy Kyoto together. Things might not go exactly as expected, so please only join if you’re okay with going with the flow.
