Silent Co-Working Session 'Mokumoku-kai ' in Umeda (& lunch - optional)

詳細
Looking for a quiet, focused space to get things done — and maybe meet like-minded people?
Join us for a Mokumoku-kai (もくもく会) — a Japanese-style silent co-working session!
What is a Mokumoku-kai?
It’s a relaxed and quiet session where everyone works on their own task — studying, writing, coding, planning, reading — anything you want to focus on. The word “mokumoku” means “silently” in Japanese. This is not a workshop or networking event, but a space for deep focus with others who also value intentional time.
If you want, we can go out for a lunch after the session.
(It’ll probably be something short and simple like going to food court near around.)
Schedule:
09:30 – 09:45 Goal sharing & casual chat
09:45 – 11:20 Silent focus time
11:20 – 11:30 Wrap-up (share progress if you want!)
11:30 - Lunch somewhere nearby (optional)
Who is this for?
• Anyone with a task or project (personal or professional)
• People who enjoy quiet productivity
• Those who want a change of environment while still getting things done
• Globally-minded locals, expats, and nomads
What to bring:
Laptop, books, notebook, or whatever you want to work on
Language:
Mainly English, but Japanese is welcome too. We’re a friendly, international group.
All nationalities and language levels are welcome!
Payment: No event fee. Please buy your own drink at the location. Please buy your own meal if tou join lunch.
As this is a small-group event, I kindly ask those who made reservation to do their best not to cancel without notice. Thank you for your cooperation.
This is my third time hosting this kind of event, so I really appreciate your patience and understanding if anything isn’t perfectly smooth. (I’m a little relieved that last time it worked well)
