Great Falls Hiking Klub at Seneca Regional Park

Hello hikers!!!
This hike will begin at Seneca Regional Park and will mostly follow the river along the Potomac Heritage Trail with several woodland trails thrown in for additional mileage and variety. PLEASE NOTE THIS HIKE BEGINS AT SENECA REGIONAL PARK, NOT GREAT FALLS PARK AND IT WILL BEGIN AT 8:30. It will be a "relatively" FLAT hike (mostly!) with some downhills at the beginning and at the end, covering about 4 or 5 miles. No long or steep uphills and no rock scrambles. The bluebells should be at peak bloom and the trail along the river should be full of them.

P.S. THIS HIKE WILL REPLACE THE HIKE CURRENTLY SCHEDULED FOR GREAT FALLS PARK. THE LATTER HIKE WILL BE CANCELLED
P,P.S. Seneca Regional Park is at the very end of Seneca Road, which has several hills and dips and a few unexpectedly sharp curves. Drive it carefully!
