Peace Concert 平和のコンサート

(English below) 1945年8月6日のあの恐ろしい日から80年が経った。それ以来、世界中の国々が平和のメッセージを広めるために結束してきた。

世界の平和を祈るバイリンガルイベントです。残念ながら、戦争と核兵器の脅威は今も続いています。

平和のために集いましょう。

広島市中区のアイパーキングビル3階に集合。住所は下記をご覧ください。
どなたでも参加できます。予約なしでも大歓迎です。英語ができなくても大丈夫です。

アナウンスやメッセージは英語と日本語のバイリンガルで行われます。英語のネイティブスピーカーと日本語のネイティブスピーカーが一文ずつ通訳します。歌う曲も、もちろん日本語と英語の歌詞です。その他、タガログ語の歌もあるかもしれません。

未就学児のお子様をお持ちの方は、どうぞご遠慮なくお連れください。保護者の方がイベントに参加されている間、アメリカからのボランティアがお子様と一緒に遊びます。おもちゃやゲームも用意しています。

このイベントはキリスト教会主催ですが、どの宗教の方でもご参加いただけることを強調したいと思います。エホバの証人、モルモン（後日聖徒教会）、いわゆる 「新宗教 」とは一切関係ありません。

80 years have passed since that horrible day of August 6, 1945. Since then, individuals from nations worldwide have banded together to promote the message of peace.

This is a bilingual event to pray for peace in the world. Unfortunately, wars and the threat of nuclear weapons persist even today.

Let's gather together to pray for peace.

We will meet on the third floor of the iParking building in Nakamachi, Hiroshima. See the address below.

Anyone is welcome. Even if you don't make a reservation, we will happily welcome you to this event. It is not necessary for you to be able to speak English in order to join.

It's a bilingual event, meaning the announcements and message will be given in both English and Japanese. One native English speaker and one native Japanese speaker will translate for one another, sentence by sentence. The songs we sing will also of course have both Japanese and English lyrics. There may also be songs in Tagalog in other languages.
If you have preschool kids, please feel free to bring them. There will be volunteers from USA who will play with them while the parents participate in the event. We have toys and games prepared.

This event is hosted by a Christian church though we want to emphasize that people of all religions are welcome to join us. We have nothing to do with Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons (church of latter-day saints) nor any so-called "New religion."
