Day Hike from Shin Kobe to Mt. Maya

An intermediate day hike, with some steep sections and wonderful views over Kobe and Osaka Bay.
Meet at Shin Kobe shinkansen station (on the ground floor where the buses stop (top of the escalators from the Shinkobe subway station) at 10:00 a.m.
We'll first hike up to the Herb Garden and then follow the mountain ridge to climb up to the top of Mt. Maya (700m). If you want an easier hike, you can take the cable car to the Herb Garden and then join us there for the hike to Mt. Maya.
Please wear hiking clothes and shoes/boots and bring rainwear (just in case) sunscreen, insect repellent, plenty of drinking water, lunch and hiking poles (optional).
Event fee is only for non-IOC members. For those who have already paid the IOC Kansai annual fee, there is no charge for participating in this event. Visitors may become members on Saturday if they wish.
