Nishi-Umeda Candle Night Photo Walk

Let's try our best low-light photography at the annual Nishiumeda Candle Night event!

We'll begin at Osaka station and explore the event together. This is open to photographers of all skill, experience, and camera types. Curious about trying photography? Don't have a camera yet? Just use your phone! Just a no-pressure photo walk with good vibes.

The OG host, Paolo, is out of town for the moment, so it'll be me, Juan, filling in.

The Plan

• 6:45 PM: Meet & Greet. Let's gather at the south side of Osaka station.
• 7:00 PM: Walk west through Nishi Umeda, stopping at the numerous displays. The grand finale is the large candle setup at Nishi Umeda Park.
• 8:30 PM: Wrap-up. For those interested, we can have a late dinner or snack.

What to bring

• Any camera: Whether it's a pro setup or your phone, it’s all about the eye, not the gear.
• Comfortable shoes: We’ll be walking roughly 2–3km at a leisurely pace.
