Waterfall hike in Beppu, Ōita, Japan.

Meet at: The Main Entrance to Beppu Park (roughly the South-east side, the bayside of Beppu Park). There is an archway, with bathrooms nearby.
Time: Meet at 10:30am, departing at 10:45am
If you are commuting, please factor in transportation times, walking, parking, ect.

INFO: We are hiking to a waterfall in Beppu, Ōita, Japan. This is not too strenuous of a hike, but we will be walking uphill, and then back down. At first we have some road walking to get to the trail, and then we will be hiking on dirt. We will be hiking about 9.65 km (6 miles) round-trip (RT).

From Beppu Park, the hike is about 3 miles (4.83 Km). The time could take approximately 1.5 hours to get there. We can explore, take photos, ect, but we should leave no later than 3 so we can get back to Beppu Park before 5, when the sun sets.

PREPARING: Please come well rested and ready for a day's hike. Wear proper hiking boots/ comfortable shoes. Bring a daypack (backpack) with: sunscreen, lunch, snacks, a water bottle, and a jacket in case it rains (because it often does). If you have trekking poles, they are always nice to have!

IMPORTANT: If you have any medication you need (inhaler, ect) please bring that with you.

If you have a camera, feel free to bring it along! I will have mine!
