Presentation by Hope will be divided into two parts.

In the first part, he will talk about the crypto/blockchain landscape in China, one of the world's most influential nations in the space when it comes to resources but also political complications. He will give an overview of the rapidly changing landscape of the Chinese blockchain space over the past couple of years, as well as his insight on how it stands today and how it influences the rest of the world. He will provide insight on the attitudes, sentiments, and common habits of crypto investors, devs, and entrepreneurs in China, and how they differ from those of the West.

In the second part of the presentation, Hope will speak about ATN (AI Technology Network). ATN is the first incepted vision of a global Artificial Intelligence as a Service (AIaaS) marketplace. It will allow developers, technology suppliers and buyers to come together to access and develop new and innovative forms of A.I. technology in a secure and collaborative environment. ATN is an enabling marketplace for the sharing of big data, computing resources, A.I. algorithms, models, and applications, run on a token-based incentive system.

Hope Fan is a Canadian bitcoin evangelist and blockchain advocate who first got into the crypto space in China in 2016. Hope is currently the director of ATN.io, and an advisor for two new blockchain projects involving MMO gaming and P2P advertising. Hope had previously worked with BitNexo, one of the earliest blockchain-based startups in Shanghai, as well as BTCC, the first-ever bitcoin exchange in China. Hope has several years of research, marketing, and entrepreneurship experience across various industries in both Canada and China, and is passionate about utilizing tech to bring more freedom to our lives and bridging relationships across cultures.

まず、中国における仮想通貨／ブロックチェーンを取り巻く環境について、お話しいただきます。中国は仮想通貨業界において、影響力のある国である一方、政治的な側面で複雑な環境にある国です。過去2〜3年の中国における、仮想通貨を取り巻く急速な変化の概観を、中国国内のみならず、世界に対して中国がどのような影響を与えたのか、までをまとめていただきます。彼の分析によると、中国の投資家・開発者・起業家は、西洋諸国とは違った捉え方をしている、とのことです。さて、どんな違いがあるのでしょうか。

次に、Hope氏にはATN（AI Technology Network）についてお話しいただきます。ATNは、グローバルなAIaaS（Artificial Intelligence as a Service）を構築することを目指すプロジェクトです。この構想が実現すると、開発者、技術提供者、購買者が安全に、かつ協働しやすい形で革新的なAI技術を開発できるようになります。ATNはビッグデータの共有、コンピューティングのリソース、AIアルゴリズム、モデル、アプリケーションのためのマーケットプレイスを構築します。このマーケットプレイスは、トークンをもとにしたインセンティブシステムによって運営されます。

Hope Fan氏は、カナダ出身のビットコイン・エバンジェリストであり、2016年に中国国内でも初期段階でブロックチェーンの有用性を唱えた第一人者です。彼はATN.ioのディレクターを勤め、MMOゲームやP2P広告に関する2つのブロックチェーンプロジェクトに関わっています。Hope氏はかつて、BitNexoに勤めた経験があります。このスタートアップは、中国初のビットコイン取引所であるBTCCと同時期の、早い段階でブロックチェーンを基盤にした上海のスタートアップでした。数年にわたるリサーチ、マーケティング、カナダと中国における様々な業界での起業経験をもとに、技術を使って文化の垣根を超え、我々の生活により多くの自由と選択肢を提供すべく活動をしています。
