I’m planning a day hike to Mt. Mitou, traveling by car from Tokyo, with an option for people to join directly near the trailhead.

Mt. Mitou is a beautiful mountain in the Okutama area with quiet trails and great forest views — a nice moderate hike for a weekend adventure.

• Departure: Around 7:30 AM

Option 2 – Join at Trailhead Area
• Meet at Kazumanoyu Onsen at 10:00 AM
• Accessible by bus (~50 min) from Musashi-Itsukaichi Station
