Hi! My name is Kim. I moved to Japan from the United States, and my wife is Japanese.

We’re currently based in the Kansai area.

We have a 5-year-old daughter who loves being outdoors and speaks both English and Japanese, so we hope this can be a welcoming space for both local and international families.

This is a casual, community-style gathering and not a guided tour. We hope it feels comfortable for both first-time and experienced campers.

Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly overnight camping experience in the natural surroundings of Uda, Nara.

We will be staying at CAUNA Nara Uda（キャウナ 奈良宇陀）, a peaceful forest campsite designed for simple, beginner-friendly outdoor stays. Perfect for families who want to enjoy nature together.

This is a self-drive event, and all participants will travel to the campsite using their own vehicles.

## 🚗 Access & Camping Area

  • Participants will arrive by private car (self-drive required)
  • We will be using the フリーサイト (Free Site area) at the campsite
  • Please note: “Free Site” refers to a non-allocated camping area, not free of charge
  • Camping fees apply, please check this website to book and see all the fees.

  • Vehicles are allowed to enter the Free Site only for loading/unloading
  • After unloading, cars must be parked in the designated parking area

One of the highlights of this trip is a relaxed group cooking experience for dinner.

  • We will cook dinner together as a group during the stay
  • Families can choose to:

こんにちは！私はアメリカから来て、妻は日本人です。現在は関西エリアに住んでいます。

5歳の娘がおり、外遊びが大好きで、日本語と英語の両方を話します。ローカルのご家族にも、海外のご家族にも、気軽に参加していただける場になればと思っています。

このイベントはガイド付きツアーではなく、リラックスしたコミュニティスタイルの集まりです。キャンプが初めての方も、経験のある方も、どちらでも気軽にご参加いただけます。

奈良県宇陀の自然の中で、家族向けの1泊キャンプを一緒に楽しみましょう。
滞在先は CAUNA Nara Uda（キャウナ 奈良宇陀）です。森に囲まれた静かなキャンプ場で、初心者でも安心して楽しめる環境が整っています。家族で自然を満喫したい方にぴったりです。
本イベントは現地集合・現地解散（各自車で移動）となります。

※「フリーサイト」は区画が決まっていないエリアのことで、無料ではありません
