🎾 Tokyo Singles Tennis Cup

Format: ATP Finals-style (Group stage + Knockout)

Match Format:
GROUP STAGE: 1 Set (to 4, tiebreak at 3–3)
KNOCKOUT ROUND: 1 Set(to 6, tiebreak at 6-6)

Players: 8
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Court: 2 Omni Courts for 5 hours
Entry Fee: ¥3,500

*I will also post this on Japanese apps so a mix of Japanese and foreigner players will attend this event.

🏆 Tournament Format

Group Stage

2 Groups (A & B), 4 players each
Round-robin: each player plays 3 matches
One-set matches (first to 4 games, tiebreak at 3–3)

Standings Rules

Most wins
Head-to-head result
Game win percentage
5-point tiebreak

Final Stage

Top 2 players from each group advance. The eliminated players will play on the consolation matches, similar to the semis and finals.
Both Semis & Finals will be normal set to 6 games, tiebreak at 6-6.

Semifinals:

1st place in Grp. A vs 2nd Place in Grp. B
1st place in Grp. B vs 2nd Place in Grp. A

Final: Winners of the semis will play for the title
