Ohtama Walking Trail〜新緑の渓谷散歩〜

Hatonosu Valley 鳩ノ巣渓谷, through which the Tama River flows, is known as the most beautiful valley in Okutama. Let’s enjoy a walk through the valley’s fresh greenery before the heat sets in and the rainy season begins. The pathways from Kori station(古里駅) to Okutama station(奥多摩駅) is well maintained and very easy to hike.

On the way, we will visit Shiromaru dam白丸ダムand take an inside tour of the 330-meter fishway 魚道, one of the largest in Japan!
Walking time:approx. 3:30
Walking distance: Approx. 8.3 km
It’s super easy course without any steep climbing.

•Participation fee: 1000 yen

-There a nice hot springs near the goal Okutama Station奥多摩駅.
If you are going to the hot springs, bring your hot spring kit.
